Here are some closer pictures of his cast. It is heavy, but I have been able to pick him up a couple of times. We tried a wagon out and took him down to the lobby and tried the interactive wall. He is doing well and tomorrow we will try to wean him off the epidural at 6 am and possibly release him if we can get a handle on his pain orally.

I can't stop looking at these pictures. Look at him in his wagon! Don't worry, you'll get stronger and used to picking him up. Just be careful of your back.
At first the bar totally bothered me, but after a while, it's kind of a lifesaver when you're trying to hold him.
We would even put Vanny on a blanket on the wood floor and pull him by the bar and he loved it.
Cyn - thanks for posting the pics. I've been trying and trying to see it in my mind. We love you and y'all continue to be in our prayers
What a sweet sweet boy you have. I can't even imagine how you are doing all of this! But then again you always seem to impress me with you seem to do. Cyndi you are a great Mamma and your boys are very blessed to have you. I love you! I miss you! I wish I were there to help you!!!
Cyndi-
I had a dream about you and Alexa last night and thought of trying to find you guys. I am so sorry that your little man had to have surgery, but so glad it could all be done together. My little boy had surgery at 10 months and it about killed me, so I can only imagine. Glad to see that you are doing so well. Hopefully we can stay in touch.
Love
Jan
hope for a speedy recovery
Oh my goodness, Cyndi. This was so long ago. I have been meaning to call you to see how everyone is doing. How is Michael now?? He is amazing - and you are so strong. He is so cute. I'm sure a lot has changed since this post. I will try to call you soon.
