Trip to Texas

Michael was helping fees the cows

Calling the cows from the truck

I tried to get in the cab with Michael, but Michael was determined to be a big kid and ride in the back with all the other kids :)

I knocked on the window to get their attention and this was how they both responded!

I decided I had to get that weird picture of me off the blog, so I decided another post was in order. Back at the end of Feb, the boys and I headed out to visit Grandma and Grandpa in Texas. We had a really fun time. I love Texas. The plane trip was a bit harrowing, but we survived. Jeremy was in the midst of tech week for two shows, so I don't think he noticed we were gone. :) The house was probably cleaner! I am so glad we went and then we were happy to come home and all be together again. I just picked some of my favorite pictures of the trip. I missed so many fun moments, though. One of my favorites that I didn't get on camera was when we were at the Turpins and everyone, even Bella!, was playing Red Rover. I loved it. I wish we all lived closer. I have even more pictures to post.

Easter traditions

We had a really fun time with the Easter eggs this year. We made monster eggs, complete with crazy hair. Andrew was thrilled to begin, his patience was wearing thin. We bought the package two weeks before and the wait was killing him. Michael fell asleep early, which made things a bit easier, but also a little sad that he missed it. I am not sure what I am working so hard on in this picture. :)
This was Andrew's first crazy egg. He was so proud.
This may just look like the biggest cookies ever, but I had a very creative idea to start with. Oh, well, chocolate chip cookie dough just spreads. They still tasted good. :)
They were easter bunnies and the boys and I worked hard getting their ears just right. Well worth the extra trouble.
The parade of stars. It was fun to do and I was the one who did the spilling of the dye. Can I blame it on the boys?
